View CartKEP celebrates the 175th anniversary of the world's first postage stamp by issuing a souvenir sheet. On May 6th, 1840 the first ever postage stamp was issued in Great Britain, which initiated the philatelic movement. The stamp is known in philately as the “Penny Black” (because of the miniature's colour and face value).
