Red Data Book of Kyrgyzstan
On December 7, 2018 the State Committee of Information Technology and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic puts into circulation a series of Kyrgyz Express Post postage stamps: “Kyrgyz Republic Red Data Book”.
A new series of KEP postage stamps includes 4 miniatures depicting the following protected fauna species: Marbled polecat, Pallas's cat, Turkestan lynx and Himalayan brown bear.
For this series, KEP also issues four postcards, which are used to realize four maximum cards.
No. 114. 50 KGS. Marbled polecat (Vormela peregusna) ) is a small mammal belonging to the monotypic genus Vormela within the Mustelinae subfamily.
No. 115. 75 KGS. Pallas's cat (Otocolobus manul) is a feline mammal, also known as the Manul.
No. 116. 100 KGS.Turkestan lynx (Lynx lynx isabellinus) is a rare subspecies of Eurasian lynx.
No. 117. 150 KGS. Himalayan brown bear (Ursus arctos isabellinus) is a rare subspecies of the brown bear.
